Sam Mayer was the star late in Saturday's HyVee Perks 250 NASCAR Xfinity Series event at Iowa Speedway, racing to the lead and holding off Riley Herbst by 0.146 seconds to earn his second victory of the season. The 20-year-old driver also carried new partner Roto-Rooter to its first victory with JR Motorsports. The young star led 47 laps on the day, including the final two.
